We are looking to hire a VP, Senior Systems Engineer to work at our fast-paced and rapidly growing company.  In this role you will work hands on, within servers, routers, firewalls, networks, and virtualized environments on a daily basis.  This work will take place within our own, privately owned environment, and within customer owned Google Cloud, AWS, Oracle, and Azure environments.  While this is considered a 9-5 position, there is an on-call component as well that may include working after hours as required.  

In addition of working closely with our internal team of support technicians and systems engineers, part of your role will include assisting with the onboarding of new customers, data migrations, and working hand-in-hand with our customers to solve complex problems.

At Cloudstar, the customer always comes first; people skills are mandatory, and strong verbal, and written communication skills are a must. And as a leader, you help set the example and we value your input. At times, you will be asked to join round table discussions to assist with driving technical decisions and managing projects.

Now Hiring – CTO

In this hands on role, you will be working inside a multi-vmware cluster, multi-datacenter environment, performing day to day tasks, and working along side a team of engineers and technicians.

LEADERSHIP

  • Ensure the needs of our customers are met, projects are delivered on time, and technical tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines
  • Communicate with the sales department to ensure new customers are migrated in on schedule, and within technical specifications
  • Participate on sales calls as needed, in the capacity of a pre-sales engineering resource
  • Work with the Director of Technical Support, EVP of Sales, and Director of Operations to resolve customer service issues should they arise
  • Take direction from others as necessary in a team environment to ensure projects are completed on time and technical issues are resolved promptly
  • Work together with engineers, technicians, sales, management and billing to ensure the overall success of the organization
  • Communicate with outside support vendors as necessary for systems upgrades, troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Work with customers on an after-hours rotation basis to manage any critical incidents
  • Document all technical activity within internal PSA systems

Level 3 Systems Engineers

Cloudstar, a multi-national provider of virtual desktop hosting, hosted software and applications, custom tailored IT infrastructure design, email encryption, managed services, IT security, and consulting to Regulated Industries across the United States, Canada and South America, is looking for a full-time Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for providing back end customer support for our cloud environment.

This position will be based in Jacksonville, FL and requires the ability to be on call for emergencies and after-hours migrations.

Technical Skills:

 

NETWORK

Cloudstar is pleased to announce multiple available positions for Google Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineers.

In this position you will be tasked with managing very large workloads within Google Cloud, including expert administration of Microsoft Active Directory.  Under your management will be:

10,000 + Windows Servers

1.5 Million End Users from day one scaling to 5 Million end users over the next several years.

The ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience working within Google Cloud Infrastructure, in addition to high level Microsoft Server Server and Network Certifications. Must display a strong skillet in the following areas:

  • Designing, planning and preparing prototype of GCP networks.
  • Configuration of network services.
  • Implementation of a GCP Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
  • Implementation and management of Google VPN Peering.
  • Implementation and management of network security.

The role

As an SDR, you will start our sales process by researching prospective customers, qualifying new sales opportunities and crafting effective outreach strategies. Billing Specialist (full time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized professional to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the finances of our business, including creating financial transactions and generating relevant reports. In this position you will report directly to the CFO and work in a tightly integrated team with an assistant book keeper / office manager.   • Ensure accurate customer payment information
  • Contact customers to collect outstanding invoices / debts
  • Enter vendor invoices and track payments

  • Tally and enter cash receipts and credit card transactions
  • Obtain tax documents from new venders

  • Provide administrative support to the management team when required

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge in QuickBooks
  • Five years’ experience working in accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operations
